Returns & Refunds policy

Thank you for engaging with Scarroz Studio Design. As a creative studio offering consultation-based services, custom design work, digital deliverables, and selected physical products, our refund and return terms vary depending on the nature of the offering. Please review this policy carefully before making a purchase or booking a service.

1. Scope of This Policy

This policy applies to:

  • Design services and consultations

  • Custom-made and personalised products

  • Printed event stationery and packaging

  • Ready-made physical products (where applicable)

  • Digital products and design deliverables

2. Consultations and Service Fees
  • Consultation fees, whether paid or discounted against a project, are non-refundable

  • Booking a consultation does not guarantee project acceptance

  • Once a consultation has been conducted, the fee cannot be refunded, transferred, or credited unless explicitly stated otherwise

3. Design Services and Custom Projects
3.1 Non-Refundable Nature of Custom Work

All custom design services, including but not limited to:

  • Website design

  • Event stationery design

  • Packaging and branding design

Advances are non-refundable once work has commenced.

This includes concept development, layouts, drafts, revisions, or production planning.

3.2 Project Cancellation

If a client chooses to cancel a project:

  • Payments already made for completed stages are non-refundable

  • Any outstanding work will be halted

  • Design files, concepts, or materials created up to that point remain the property of Scarroz Studio Design unless otherwise agreed in writing

4. Digital Products and Design Deliverables
  • Digital products, downloadable files, and design-only deliverables are non-returnable and non-refundable

  • Once files are delivered or access is granted, the service is considered fulfilled

  • Scarroz Studio Design is not responsible for third-party usage, printing errors, or modifications made after delivery

5. Physical Products and Printed Materials
5.1 Custom and Made-to-Order Items

Custom-made, personalised, or made-to-order physical products are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund, except in cases of confirmed production defects.

Minor variations in colour, texture, finish, or alignment are inherent to printing and handmade processes and are not considered defects.

5.2 Ready-Made Physical Products

Ready-made products may be eligible for return or replacement only if:

  • The item arrives damaged or defective

  • The issue is reported within 48 hours of delivery

  • The product is unused and in original packaging

6. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged or incorrect physical item:

  • Notify us within 48 hours of delivery

  • Provide clear photos or videos of the item and outer packaging

  • Keep all original packaging intact until the issue is resolved

Resolution may include replacement or refund, subject to verification and courier claim outcomes.

7. Shipping and Handling Costs
  • Shipping fees are non-refundable

  • Return shipping costs are borne by the customer unless the error is confirmed to be on our end

  • Custom, bulk, and B2B orders are excluded from standard return shipping coverage

8. What Is Not Eligible for Refund or Return

The following are not eligible:

  • Consultation fees

  • Custom design services after work has begun

  • Digital products and downloads

  • Custom stationery, packaging, or printed materials

  • Delays caused by client non-responsiveness

  • Transit-related damage beyond courier claim coverage

  • Change of mind after design approval or production commencement

9. Chargebacks and Disputes

Clients are encouraged to contact us directly before initiating chargebacks. Unauthorized chargebacks may result in suspension of services and forfeiture of deliverables.
